A comprehensive assessment of a child’s thinking, learning, and behavior. It examines areas such as intellectual functioning, attention, executive functioning, memory, language, academic skills, and social-emotional functioning to better understand and identify strengths and challenges, clarify diagnoses, and guide personalized recommendations for supports in and out of school.

Assessment of a student’s cognitive and academic skills. It looks at areas such as intellectual functioning, reading, writing, and math. The evaluation is often used to identify learning differences such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, or dyscalculia and to develop targeted recommendations for academic accommodations, and educational planning.
This evaluation may also be appropriate for students who already have diagnoses and need a re-evaluation to monitor progress and update recommendations for accommodations/intervention

Standardized assessment of intelligence (IQ) with written report needed for gifted/twice exceptional (2e) program or school admissions.
Our Process
Intake & Record review
Caregiver intake interview, review of records, and collaboration with school/other providers when applicable.
Testing
Evidence-based testing with Dr. Moss. Neuropsychological evaluations will include IQ testing, language, attention, executive functioning, fine motor, memory, academic achievement, and social-emotional functioning.
Feedback & Report
Dr. Moss will review the data collected during the evaluation focusing on patterns of strengths and difficulties, discuss diagnoses (when applicable) and recommendations for intervention/ accommodations. You will also receive a comprehensive written report.
While our office does not work with insurance directly, we do provide a superbill. A superbill includes services provided, and can be submitted to insurance for potential reimbursement.
